First time here with my girl friend and we were NOT disappointed! Our server was professional and very friendly and gave us several recommendations on what to try. As you can see from the pictures the presentation was amazing and the portion sizes very good. Amazing food, flavor, and atmosphere. Plus the prices are fantastic for the qualitiy. Definitely recommend trying this place! We are coming back for sure!

Lovely food, wonderful quiet/chill dining experience (maybe too quiet GO SUPPORT THIS RESTAURANT!). The causa limena was absolutely fabulous. Different in that it’s a deconstructed causa, but fabulous regardless. The ceviche was fine - out of a dinner of amazing food it was just good. The Lomo Saltado Mac n Cheese was AMAZING. You absolutely must order this. I would stop by here to solely order this delightful dish. The Arroz con Mariscos was very yummy - reminded my partner of the delicious paella we had in Barcelona - a very strong compliment. The sushi rolls were fine, yummy, but at that point we had ordered too much delicious food and we were forcing our way through. Surprisingly the restaurant was kid friendly for dinner, and even more surprisingly our kiddo didn’t go berserk. They even lovingly catered a bento box to his egg allergy (thank you!). 5 stars all around. Go eat here!

My husband is half Peruvian. We had a favorite Peruvian spot in NYC (Flor de Mayo for those visiting), but we have struggled to find a Peruvian spot we love in Houston. Pacha Nikkei is a Peruvian and Japanese restaurant on Briarpark and Westheimer. It was fairly crowded for a lazy Sunday afternoon but we were still seated right away. Unfortunately there seemed to be some miscommunication about which waiter we were assigned to so it took quite some time for us to get service after we were seated which irked me, but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt and choosing to believe it was not the norm. My daughter ordered the Lomo Saltado with corkscrew Mac n’ Cheese which we waited for with bated breath because it is always made with steak fries—it was BOMB! The seasoning on the beef complemented the cheesy homemade sauce perfectly. 10/10. My husband got conventional Lomo Saltado and it was great, but after having sampled my daughter’s I wouldn’t order his version. I ordered what I always order at any Peruvian spot: ceviche. I got the one with the fried fish on top which was crunchy and buttery goodness. The ceviche itself was made with tiger milk, which is not how I usually enjoy it (with limon), but it was yummy—a little sweeter than the homemade version I am used to but I was completely happy with it. 9/10. I ordered the smoky peach cocktail which is mezcal based with egg white and it was scrumptious 10/10, but my husband was not happy with the chicha. Keep in mind our perspective may be different because we enjoy this made from scratch regularly, but my in-laws usually prepare this with cinnamon sticks and seasoning so this was a disappointment. He gave it a 5/10. Not nasty, just not what we are used to.

Incredibly creative and delicious food! Portions are generous without being excessive, and everything is presented so well in the Japanese - infused Peruvian style that's a real novelty for even the excellent restaurant choices we have in Houston. I last visited with my 10-year-old daughter, we did not have reservations, and the restaurant was fully booked but the hostess was able to accommodate us at the sushi bar. I had the Ceviche Clasico and Tako Olivo roll. My wife had the Lomo saltado. My daughter had the egg noodles with chicken and edamame and pronounce them the most delicious noodles she's ever had. The serving staff took very good care of us without being obnoxious, and we were pleased that the hostess also checked on our progress and the chef himself came by to make sure that even my daughter enjoyed her kids meal. We will be back!

what a wonderful surprise! Stopped by here recently. Did not expect what I got. Absolutely amazing!! The food was delicious. The environment was nice and the decor was vibrant. I would have never put these foods together as a fusion but they work seamlessly. The chef is some sort of mad genius that combines a rustic feel with a Michelin star approach. I do not review this highly often but they are an absolute five-star. I will return and give a more extensive review when I am prepared. Definitely order the ice cream trio as a dessert. Amazing in-house flavors! Will return for something way more extensive! Absolutely worth a taste!!!

The Peruvian Japanese cuisine has acquired in the last few years international recognition for the incredible fusion of the delicious flavors of these two great gastronomic countries. The encounter between these rich cultures has given rise to a delicious culinary expression made available in the Pacha Nikkei restaurant. It will introduce you to the unique and exquisite flavors, philosophy and techniques of the Nikkei (Peruvian-Japanese) cuisine. This elegant restaurant with a great atmosphere and captivating decor is located in the Houston Westchase. It will definitely enchant you with fantastic dishes, not only for the tasty combination of flavors but also the presentation of their dishes. Definitely one of the most unique restaurants in Houston due to the high quality and elaborate presentation of their dishes. You will not be disappointed by ordering actually any of their dishes. Some of their specialties include the Ceviche Clasico, Lomo Saltado, Anticuchos, Causa Limena, Cevice Nikkei, just to name a few of the large available menu. The serving staff were great and very attentive. To our surprise the chef himself, Chef Masuro Fukuda greeted us at the table. We ordered two delicious desserts, Lucuma Cheesecake and Panettone Bread Pudding, both to die for. Our experience was absolutely amazing!! A must while visiting Houston and definitely if you life there.

Easily one of the best meals I've ever had. I loved the oysters the most and I loved all the mixed drink options. The bread pudding was phenomenal. I don't think you could go wrong picking anything off the menu and I'll be back every time I'm in town.

This place was unbelievably good. We’re so spoiled in Houston: this would be the best restaurant in like 97% of American cities. We came in, the waiter gave the spiel about what they are all about, Peruvian-Japanese small plates. He recommended three small plates Ceviche Pacha, Yucas Fritas, and Wagyu Skewers then the Lomo Saltado main course. We took them all and added the Pacha Maki as well. Ceviche was probably the highlight, with sweet potato puree being a nice touch, and the Maki was second. Skewers were still excellent as were the Yuca and Lomo Saltado. All this was about 96. The restaurant was a bit loud but where isn’t nowadays. I’ll definitely be coming back with other people.
